Asa Bhanu Japan Centre (ABJC) is a not for profit association sponsored by our group. This centre was established with the desire to promote relations between Japan and India.

 

The Centre aims to offer a single point source of information to serve the people of India and Japan to foster the relations in various fields. The Centre was inaugurated on 7th October 1999 by the Consulate General of Japan, Chennai Mr. Ryuichi Ishii.

 

The Sister City affiliation agreement signed between Hyderabad city and Miyoshi City in Japan in July 2006 to build on the goodwill and friendship between the people of Hyderabad and the people of Miyoshi city.

  
  The AIMS and Objectives:  
 
 
To serve as a single point source to foster bilateral relationship between people of India and Japan.
To act as bridge between counter parts of Japan and India for promoting relations in the fields of Technology and culture.
To facilitate Japanese Language teaching to enable Indians to conduct business with Japanese companies
To promote sister city relationship between India and Japanese cities.
 
 
  Activities Undertaken:  
 
 
Promote Japanese culture amongst the people of India.
Create a platform for promoting Japanese art and culture (Japanese dolls, Ikebana, Bonsai, Origami and Martial Arts exhibitions are popular all over the city).
Spreading awareness amongst school children in areas related to Japanese art and culture by conducting workshops and competitions.
Conduct the Japanese Management courses.
Interacting with Government officials for improving the roads laying technology in India.

Special workshops to promote Japanese culture.
 
 
  Japanese culture Hub:  
 
 
Presenting the timeless arts of Japan like Calligraphy, Origami, Bonsai and Ikebana to the Indians through workshops, demos, seminars and exhibition.
Active participation in the Japanese film festivals which are received widely in India.
