A strong understanding of Health Safety and Environmental issues will be required, but training will also be provided if necessary.
- The final WIS will also provide all the relevant information required to refurbish or construct a substation.
- The Design Engineer will assist the commercial teams in the process of turning the detailed WIS into a target price for the contract as required.
- On approval of the target price the Design Engineer must manage the electrical substation design process in it’s entirety including, any primary and secondary equipment design, telecommunications building services and misc. services.
- The Design Engineer will also be required to ensure all interfaces to civil, mechanical and Overhead Line (OHL) and cables designs are specified, risk assessed and managed
