At the beginning of this financial year,
Asa Bhanu employees and management committedthemselves
to be more customer focused, to make quality a way of
life at Asa Bhanu and to deliver every project on-time.
I am happy that we are progressing steadily towards
our goals. I am pleased to inform you that our ISO 9001-2000
certificate was renewed for the next 3 years with the
addition of Design processes.
Our business is growing and diversifying
into potential new areas. India is strengthening its
infrastructure at a rapid pace.
Airports play a key role in moving people
& materials for fast economic growth. Public and
Private sector enterprises are heavily investing in
modernizing existing airports and building new green
filed airports. We are actively participating in this
growing sector by offering Flight information Display
systems, Elevators & Escalators etc. We are building
partnerships where ever necessary with equipment manufacturers
and Systems/software developers to address these opportunities.
India is planning to add approximately
another 100,000 MW of Power generating capacity during
2007-2012 period and is planning to introduce Metro
trains in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow,
Thiruvanantapuram and Kochi. Japanese Manufacturers
should take advantage of the current favorable political
and economic scenario and aggressively enter the Indian
Market. Asa Bhanu is uniquely positioned to assist Japanese
Enterprises to go to Indian market very quickly.
Regarding the on-going business segments,
I am pleased to report to you that on behalf of Mitsubishi
and Rotem, we have delivered the 62nd Metro train to
Delhi Metro Corporation, New Delhi in April, 2007. We
have fine tuned our procurement operations and as a
result we started delivering products ahead of schedule
to our Japanese Customers. I strongly congratulate our
Croydon team for successfully completing one year of
Off-shore design support to Mitsubishi Electric Europe.
As we at Asa Bhanu believe that Motivated
and committed employees are central to the success of
any organization, we are continuously attempting to
make working at Asa Bhanu a pleasure. We have started
campus recruitments to induct young engineers into the
organization and planning to mould them in our corporate
culture.
